“Why does System Requirements under Product Features say Windows 7, 8, 10, Vista, XP or 2000 is required, yet under Compatibility it says Windows ME, 2000, XP or Vista is required?!”

Because of the different types of flash and memory usage, the older operating systems would not be able to run. But everything you need to do is on the phone app.

Therefore they are able to transfer data between any computer/device capable of attaching to an Ethernet connection (IE they have an internal network card and wireless or Ethernet connection). That means they are compatible with all Windows (and Apple and other OSs). The installation may require you have a Win 7,8,10 XP, 2000 machine as does the control panel. I just checked and my router does allow access with Win XP, through Win 10. Why the deviation in specs? Possibly different writers.
