“Can I use this for Comcast as it requires DOCSIS 300 compatible?”

• This is NOT a cable modem; it is a WiFi router. You would plug this into a cable modem to add WiFi if your modem didn't have it, or if the WiFi on the modem wasn't working very well.

• This router will work for all. That's a modem spec. My provider required the same thing.

• The picture above is a router not a modem. Netgear makes a wonderful 3.0 compatible combination Modem/Router ... at a very reasonable price, I think in the N600 range for about $130. If you already have 3.0 Modem, YES this will work... The netgear 300 is at the bottom end of their line.

• Never heard of DOCSIS 300, but it certainly supports DOCSIS 3.0 and works well with Comcast.
