“How do I view recorded footage? Can I do it through the phone app or do I have to upload the micro SD to a computer first? Also if the SD is full does the camera overwrite old footage and continue recording or does it stop recording completely?”

Good Afternoon. You can view the recorded video from the convenience of the mobile app. Once the SD card becomes full you will have to reformat it to make space for new recordings! Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
