A:AnswerThe Wireless NVR has built-in Wi-Fi to connect to the cameras. Internet is not required to view the cameras on a TV or monitor. However, if you want to view the cameras remotely on a Smartphone, Tablet, PC or Mac then you will need to connect the NVR to your router using the included Ethernet cabling. Thank you!
A:AnswerYou can add up to a 4TB internal SATA HDD, 2.5" or 3.5", min. 7200RPM. Night Owl does not sell hard drives. But, so long as it meets that criteria, you should be okay. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

A:AnswerIn order to view video on a smart device, a minimum of 2Mbps of dedicated upload speed is recommended. The cameras have an IP-65 weatherproof rating.
A:Answerthese are the worse cameras to own, go with a wired 4k with at least 4-5MP. these don't have clear zooming, even with a high wireless signal the recordings are really bad, there is to much video skipping for example lets say a person is walking 20 feet, the recording will show a skip from 5 feet to 10 feet, then resume recording at 10 feet, so if something happened between the 5 feet and the 10 feet, you will not see it, hence video skipping, stay away from this unit (TRUST ME) and learn from my mistake of me buying this garbage. I had to return the dvr 2x back to night owl.
