wired: Each individual camera is physically wired (BNC wire/connections) from location you setup DVR player all the way to location you setup each camera around your house, either indoor or outdoor.
Wireless: Just as its called, "wireless" there are no wires from DVR to your camera EXCEPT for the power cable that connects to each individual camera. The power cable does not need to be connected at the same location DVR is at, but will need to be connected within (I think) the power cable length is 10feet.
A:AnswerThe cameras are not powered by the DVR. Per every 4 cameras, we included 1 camera power adapter and 1 x 4-way power splitter. Each adapter will power up to 4 cameras and must be connected to a power outlet. Thank you!

A:AnswerThat is a good question. All recordings will be stored, for free, on the pre-installed 1TB hard disk drive (HDD). You can easily access them for playback and back them up when necessary. You can locally view your system from a TV with no Internet using an HDMI cable (minimum 1080p resolution).
