• macro. can be used as a moderate wide angle. better off with a 24mm lens

• This lens would not be considered a wide angle lens. This is a macro lens made for getting up close to subjects to capture small details. You may want to look into either the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens or the AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Lens.
