Q: QuestionWhat does "DX" mean on the Nikon lenses?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer In digital cameras, the camera's format refers to the size of its image sensor. Nikon makes a DX-format sensor and an FX-format sensor. The DX-format is the smaller sensor at 24x16mm; the larger FX-format sensor measures 36x24mm which is approximately the same size as 35mm film.

Q: QuestionI have a D750. Will this lens work if I put the camera of crop mode. Will I see black box on the frame?
Asked by Adrian.
- A:Answer The Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Macro lens can work when the Nikon D750 DSLR camera has the crop mode set to "On". When crop mode is off you will see vignetting in live view. When crop mode is on you will see only the cropped version in live view and when using the viewfinder you will see a black box to indicate what the crop will affect. In playback you will notice this as a possible drop in resolution or the edges of the picture will be blacked out to indicate the DX crop.

Q: QuestionIs this lens compatible with the Nikon coolpix b600?
Asked by Onyx.
- A:Answer Hi, From what I understand, you can't swap, or remove lenses on the Coolpix cameras. This lens is designed for Nikon interchangeable lens DSLR cameras with an "F-style" mount. If you would like to take macro pictures, upgrading to a DSLR with this lens would be a great investment.

Q: QuestionWhy I try to put the lense on my d3500 it doesn't click or slide like the one that came with the camera. With that damage my camera?
Asked by Meal.
- A:Answer This lens does fit on the D3500. I'm not sure what clicking you are referring to as neither of the lens I got with the D3500 click when I attach them. I have successfully used this lens as well as the 18-55mm and 70-300mm lenses with no trouble or noises. Just make sure you are aligning the attachments properly.
