The AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G is an EXCELLENT choice for taking close-up of small objects. You will get life-like shots of these subjects with the lenses 1:1 ratio and extremely fast and sharp f/2.8 aperture. Enjoy it! It's a great lens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This lens is amazing, but you will have to check to see if your camera is compatible with the lens. My camera is the Nikon d3100 and it does work. It'll be in your manual that came with the camera. If you don't have that, I believe there is a list on the Nikon website that says what lenses are compatible with what cameras. Hope this helps :)
