What is the weight of this lens in pounds? null

81.2 oz. can be handheld but as with most super-long telephoto lenses a monopod or sturdy tripod is always good to have on hand. The autofocus is quick and when the VR mode is engaged the image is quite stable. Having a monopod or tripod available will cut down on fatigue to the arms when holding lens for long periods.

I'm not 100% certain (I'm currently at work), but it feels like 5-8lbs... after a bit, its like carrying around a gallon of milk, lol.

The AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Super Telephoto Zoom Lens is approximately 2300g (5 lb 1.2 oz) when including the tripod collar. Without tripod collar the 200-500mm lens is approximately 2090 g (4 lb 9.8 oz).
