Will this work with a Nikon D50? null

As long as your camera has interchangeable lens capability and it's Nikon F mount it will work. The only thing I believe you have a DX sensor and this lens is made for a FX sensor but it has its advantages because that magnifies your image even more than 200-500 mm. This is a auto focus lens
