• To secure the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Super Telephoto Zoom lens to a tripod, use the foot of the lens, which has a standard ¼ inch (ISO 1222) tripod socket for use with any standard tripod. This will also provide support for the Nikon D3300 when it's attached to the lens. No brackets are needed, but make sure to use a tripod that can handle the weight of the lens and camera combined.
