The Nikon D3200 is compatible with type E AF-S lenses such as the AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR. However, you may want to keep in mind that this lens is an FX format lens while the D3200 is a DX format camera body. An FX lens image circle when projected on a DX sensor crops the image, and has the effect of magnifying the image by approximately 1.5x. For example, a 200mm-500mm FX lens on a DX format camera will give you the equivalent angle of view of a 300mm-750mm lens on an FX camera.
