For compatible lenses for the D90 look into AF-S lenses marked as G or D, like the AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5 -5.6G ED VR or the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/4G ED VR Telephoto lens.AF- lenses can also be used with the D90, however, this lens type will have to be manually focused.
