“I know this may not be able to be answered but I have this camera It was dropped by a baby and the screen has lines down it now. It will turn on I just want to make sure I just need to change the screen before just buying a whole new one.”

I suggest calling NIkon and getting an estimate for the screen replacement. You didn't mention if you have tried to take pictures with it since this happened. I would try a few pictures and then call Nikon.
