The B500 is compatible with the optional EH-67/EH-67s AC Adapter. This AC adapter is used to power the camera directly from an electrical outlet. The EH-67/EH-67s AC Adapter does not charge the AA batteries that are in the camera when the adapter is being used. LR6/LR40 alkaline (supplied), FR6/L91 lithium, or EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries can be used in the B500.
