I have Windows 10 & no issues, super easy set up. You need to use a SD Card or Micro SD card to store the images. ( it will say which on the box) so it really depends on if you do a lot of videos or just images and the size card you get. The screen has a indicator as to how many more you can take but if you are worried you can always just carry an extra one in the case.

For transfer software that is compatible with Windows 10, check out Nikon's ViewNX-i software. The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera has approximately 20 MB of internal memory. For more storage space use an approved SD, SDHC or SDXC memory card.
