snapbridge is an application program that runs on mobile phone, which transfers selected images to mobile phone when paired with the camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The difference between DSLRs that have built-in Wi-Fi, as compared to built-in Bluetooth, is that they each connect to a completely different wireless application to work. The Nikon D3400 DSLR uses built-in Bluetooth to connect to a compatible smart device that is running the SnapBridge application and does not have built-in Wi-Fi. DSLRs that do not have built-in Bluetooth, but instead have built-in Wi-Fi or are Wi-Fi capable, use the Wireless Mobile Utility (WMU) application to connect with a compatible smart device. Some current cameras with built-in Bluetooth are also equipped with built-in Wi-Fi for an additional option of using the connected smart device as a remote through the SnapBridge application.
