“Been using 30 pixel camera. Allows me the range I need. confused pixel vs range. will less than 30 pixel if zoom is longer work the same. Have to take house numbers from a distance - maybe 3-4 houses away. 16 meg no work. Need and (date&time) too.”

Pls get a good zoom lense with VR. use a tripod. This camera should solve you purpose if couple with good zoom lense.
