No. The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera does not have a 4K option for video or still images. Current and available Nikon DSLR cameras that offer 4K Ultra HD video options are the Nikon D7500 and the Nikon D500, however, all stills created in movie mode will be recorded at the image quality and size chosen for the movie with the exception of those taken in 3840x2160 size, which will be recorded at an image quality of JPEG fine.
