Q: QuestionDoes this camera have an audio output feature?
Asked by Z.
- A:Answer The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera does not have a Mic jack for plugging in an external microphone, but instead uses a built-in, monaural microphone that offers amazing audio recording quality. In addition, there is also a Wind Noise Reduction feature that can be turned on and off to help to reduce the sound that is made when wind passes over the microphone. Q: QuestionWill the lenses I have for my Nikon D3200 fit the D3400?
Asked by Lee.
- A:Answer The Nikon D3400 camera has a Nikon F bayonet mount that is fully compatible with Nikon AF-S, AF-P and E-type lenses. Nikon AI and AF-type lenses can also be used but must be focused manually as the Nikon D3400 camera does not have a built-in focus motor. As long as you are using any of the lens types mentioned they will fit, and work with, the Nikon D3400 camera.

Q: QuestionDoes it have a focus motor
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera does not have a built-in focus motor. This kit comes with a AF-P lens; this lens type uses a built-in “Pulse” motor or “Stepping” autofocus motor to provide smooth and quiet focus. AF-S and AF-P lenses used with the Nikon D3400 will have full autofocus capability while AF-type lenses will need to be autofocused manually.
