“Indoor Dark Lighting Hi There - I have a D3000 Nikon Camera that I got last year. When I take pictures outside, the pictures turn out beautiful! However, when I take pictures indoors (say at a bar, or at a Dance) the built-in flash seems to not work as necessary. Causing Swirls, and lines from different lighting fixtures around the room - Including making people appear "Transparent". My Question - Will this work with the Nikon D3000? and In a typical dark setting (I am a photographer for a friends company in which there is a dance in 2 weeks) I want the pictures to look sharp, will this help?”

Yes it will work I took pictures for a friend which was a outdoor wedding and it done great .

You may need to tweak your settings to get the swirls and ghosting to go away try bumping up your ISO level, adjusting your shutter speed, setting your f/stop to different settings until you get the best results. once you do find the best results, write down those settings and program one of your user presets so you always have them for lower lit areas. I find getting to the spot you'll be shooting a bit early for this setup will help you out a lot.
