It's easily compatible with a wide variety of DSLR cameras for both on-camera and remote lighting and is highly portable. It can be adjusted for a multitude of different lighting situations that can change the white balance and has an internal detection for automatic control of recycling time to prevent overheating. If you are looking for something that has more options for lighting you may be interested in the Nikon SB-5000, which has an all-new flash cooling system to provide the user with more than 100 consecutive shots at full output. It also has a radio control remote option for radio-capable cameras like the Nikon D5 and D500. The SB-910 and SB-900 also offer versatile use with this camera. All are compatible and would be a great addition to your camera bag.
