“Is the Nikon SB-700 AF Speedlight compatable with the Nikon D3200? Wanting to purchase this Nikon flash for my D3200 camera but while I see others are writing about purchasing it to use with the same camera the D3200 is not listed as compatible on the Nikon website. Do they work together after all? Thanks so much!”

The SB 700 is compatible with the D3200. The D3200 has a standard hot shoe. The D3200 does not have a COMMANDER mode on it to use the flash wirelessly. If you want to do that you need to purchase the SU-800 or an additional speed light with commander mode. If wireless flash has not interest to you at all, the SB700 would be compatible with the D3200. You might want to, in addition, check out the the SB500. Great flash with a great constant light source LED for adding light, when needed, while taking movies!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine on my D610s for the weddings I shoot and I use it as a master light to 3 other slave lights. Often, just to show off Ill take it off of my cameras and put it on a random guest's Nikon just to show them what their camera is capable of. It's always worked either way.
