Sorry that I cannot answer specifically your question about baking cookies, but I would expect you can do it but would just have to experiment a bit. As others have described, the air fryer is simply a compact convection oven. The small space heats and cooks faster than a conventional oven. Suggest using the temp of your toaster oven but ease back on the time (since hot air circulates). Re other issues of the Ninja - I have had mine for about a month: - it has been very quiet, compared to a few others I tested (Phillips, Gourmia) - no unusual odors from the unit - cleans easily with no damage, although I just hand wash - the Ninja does NOT have a handle that detaches from the inner pan, which I like - - the mechanisms I have seen seem cheap and unreliable. The Ninja feels solid and simple

We recommend using the Roast setting. To convert recipes designed for conventional ovens, reduce the temperature of the Air Fryer by 25°F. Check food frequently to avoid overcooking. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree its the best gadget I have ever gotten (it was a gift to me) and I love it I know you can t cookies in it go by the instructions for oven but subtract 25-50 degrees from oven degrees and cut time down by 20% that's how I learned. Now I pretty much do the 25 off of the oven directions and check it on the timing. The biggest rule I know with the air fryers is: If you can't cook it in the oven you can't cook it in the air fryer!!! Just remember to do 25-50 off of the the temp and 20% off the timing. ENJOY!!!!! :)
