How large is the chute, opening to receive fruit null

I cut my oranges in four slices and stick them in one at a time. The hole is good enough for all kind of fruits and veggies. Is about 2 inches big.

The feed chute is 3 inches. For best results we recommend cutting ingredients down to 2" pieces.
