Nope, not at all. There are 2 vents in the back where air escapes and that is it. The machine does get warm, but not to the point where you can't touch it or it's emanating heat into the surrounding area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Subjective but I’ll answer. Our kitchen while an open layout is not much bigger than maybe a three bedroom apartment kitchen. This does not noticeably heat up the kitchen, you can feel hot air coming out of the back just inches away but once two feet away or more I do not notice the heat. I sometimes rest against the counter near it waiting for something to cook and just do not notice it like our old air fryer and microwave air fryer.
