How much clearance from shelves above is required? null

Front to back upright is 8 1/2", tallest point upright is 15 1/2", laying in down cooking position is it is 16 1/2".

It has room to flip up on any counter with standard wall cabinets above the counter. You can measure the space from counter to cabinet and compare to the depth measurement of the oven, plus an inch or 2.
