Yes it will sear your steak very well your steak will be nice and juicy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried the XL an the lower model.... I believe the smaller model grilled / seared the meat better without over cooking ! I like the product ..... it does render a nice grill flavor ..... the smaller version was quieter also !
