“While adding more pellets during a long smoke, the new pellets sometimes do not reignite, and pushing the woodfire button does not start the reignition process. I have had to turn the oven off, restart the smoke option. Is there an easier way to do this?”

I have not run into that problem as of yet did you try contacting the manufacturer?
