My 90 year old mother lives in France while I live in the USA. She is not technically able to do anything except see the pictures/videos. Am I able to do everything from the mobile app? Or are there some functions that need to be done by the local remote? null

It would have to be assigned to her local Wi-Fi.

You can control everything from your Nixplay Mobile App as long as the Nixplay frame is connected to a WiFi network. You can pair the Nixplay frame to your account and control all the settings of the frame remotely as well as what content is playing on the frame.
