Yes, but there are a few different procedures meaning there are different ways to do what you need to do. 1. You can backup your photos to the Google cloud, then download them to your new phone. 2. Connect your phone to a computer and copy your photos there, then copy them back to your new phone. 3. There is also a procedure when setting up your new phone where it will ask you if you need or want to copy files from your old phone to the new one.

That is the normal on Android phones especially that this phone is android one. However I do not use this phone because I ordered the 7.1 by mistake. I wanted the 7.2 the newee version with the larger screen. I gave had Nokia 6.1 and they were backed and came up on the phone.
