Michael The overall measurement of this machine 43”H x 22”W x 86.5”D. It is indeed a long piece of equipment, as it is made to fit even tall people as they stretch out their legs to full extent. Give yourself some elbow room with this equipment. The space you put this rower in should be approximately 30” wide and at least 90” long to give you the space you need. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I did a quick check with a measuring tape and it came to about 85 inches, end to end. I don't know the suggested clearance, but I do not need the full length when I am at the extended part of stroke (the "finish"?). In short, if my machine were in a room with only 8 feet of space in one direction I would be totally fine rowing in that space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is set in a tight location and the length needed was 103” (allows about 8 inches front and back to either get around in front and stretch out at your back) We have another 12” measured from the side of the seat out on both sides for leg comfort. We are 6” and 5’6” and works perfectly for both of us. Hope this helps. BTW, we love this piece of equipment as it is quiet, sturdy and easy to put up for company. Only negative is the deal where they try to make you get a subscription to IFIT in order to turn it on. We use our apple watches so not necessary. You can google how to turn on and bypass the IFIT.
