“Does the air blow front the bottom of the fireplace? My concern is placing my tv above the fireplace then the heat is blow on top of my tv.”

It has a vent that flows from the top and the vents face away from the wall. Outward toward you if you are standing in front of it. If you put your tv at least 1 door above it...it will be fine.
