After being on EVGA's waiting list program from early October 2020, I finally got the email to buy my 3080 (a EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra) late October 2021. But I didn't have to deal with constantly checking any website over and over, or setting up in stock alerts, crashing websites, not being able to get through checkout in time before the cards were gone etc.
A:AnswerThere's no reason it shouldn't work. The motherboard has a PCI3 slot, and it looks like there should be enough clearance. (Most, if not all, motherboards that have the correct slot will be compatible.)
A:AnswerUnfortunately, I don't believe your system has a hope in ell of running with this RTX 3080 in it solely because it's a unicorn.. and we'll never know if it's compatible, because nobody will ever really own one..

A:AnswerDenends, you need to be more specific. A first-gen Ryzen 7 will bottleneck the card to a moderate degree, but not too awfully. A 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gen Ryzen should be just fine.
A:AnswerThis card can not go into a laptop. Laptops have modified Gpus to be able to fit into them. The card is made for a pc build in a tower not a laptop.

Employees lie saying they don’t have it, or even if they did they’re not allowed to sell it and it’s illegal. Seriously that’s what someone told me, lol. I’m like what kind of BS is that.
Employees, including the managers, are backdooring them. So they can take advantage of the scalping and prices.
A:AnswerThe next in-store restock will be sometime in the next month or two. The in-store restock worked well for Best Buy and scalpers can't get them so they are looking to do this in the future more.
A:AnswerFor me the app doesn't work, I noticed that when you click the "add to cart" to enter the que the button (please wait) never refreshed. When you use the website the please wait button has a little sign showing that it is refreshing. I stopped using the app after the first few drops, and was finally able to get a gpu.
