I waited for a year. Not for the founders edition particularly, but any decent 3080 card. After being on EVGA's waiting list program from early October 2020, I finally got the email to buy my 3080 (a EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra) late October 2021. But I didn't have to deal with constantly checking any website over and over, or setting up in stock alerts, crashing websites, not being able to get through checkout in time before the cards were gone etc.

Paying 3 months rent on gaming. LOL......I'm not that thirsty for frame rates. I got bar tabs, run up by pretty women with no intention of going home with me, to pay.
