From what I’ve heard, Best Buy was the only retailer willing take a reduced profit margin. Nvidia didn’t want to deal with sales. Of course that’s the route Nvidia took, cheapskates.

They didn’t sell all to bots, there was a work around for the que, while we waited, people had links to add to cart and buy early. When it hit 6am most was already in a cart. There will be more mostlikely, and plenty for the aib cards.

It leaked out that the Best Buy site had a flaw that if you add &addchv=true to the URL of the product page it would bypass the 6am pacific time launch. Effectively scalpers bought all of the Founders Edition before 6am. Quantity limits were also removed with the exploit. They were all gone before the 6am launch.
