I agreed!!! I suspect that some best buy employees are scalping the FE cards and reselling them on ebay since no other retailers get more FE crds tban Best buy does. I am wondering if we can use the serial number to track the card is from which Best buy chain and then we can make a report to the corp. It won't be easy, but we can contact some big tech channels on youtube and they will do the work for us. The employees that do scalping on the 4090s and PS5 need to get fired asap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.they are resold from people who bought them. if i go into best buy and buy a 4090 for $1600 I can turn around and sell it for however much i want. best buy cant control what people do after they purchase a product. if you were smart your anger would be directed at nvidia because if they would just produce more cards than this whole problem would go away completely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no proof or reason to think Best Buy employees are getting first dibs on the cards. For one, they are not purchased in-store, they are purchased online and then shipped to the store so a stocker cannot hide one to buy later. The people that are buying them have bots. Best Buy used to have a queue system when they had larger drops to thwart bots from automatic buying and still people complained. It's easy and petty to blame Best Buy because a scalper has no name, no face, and no comment section for people to rant. This is not Best Buy's fault. People need someone to get angry at and Best Buy is just an easy target.
