“Why is this website broken? I was told I can place an order on the card, it asked me to confirm my recovery phone number - As soon as I confirmed it, the page when blank and I could not complete the order..The website is broken and support not helping?”

I had it in my cart at launch and I couldn't check out... BestBuy is almost synonymous with a scam...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'll give an opinion/guess on what happened. I too - was in the exact same situation as yourself. Momentary elation followed by extreme sadness. Regardless, based on my background in computer science and knowledge of cueing theory - on reflection - I think you and I experienced a very serious attempt by Best Buy to come up with a purchasing system that was fair and attempted to eliminate scalpers. To me - the requirement for mobile phone verification was indicative of that. So, without actually knowing for sure what Best Buy was attempting to do - I think Best Buy should not be ridiculed for their handling 0f their Nvidia GeForce RTX 50xx selling process unless or until we know more about what was going on. I just tell myself that I can do just fine waiting a few more months to get a new graphics card for my new PC.
