• A:Answer This is a standalone VR headset, it is its own device entirely. A smartphone is required for the initial setup, and the Samsung Note 10 will work for that, but, after that, a phone is not needed at all.

Q: QuestionHi I was wondering If you can play multiplayer Minecraft with two oculus quests. I was also wondering If you can cross play, for example say your friend has a pc and you have a oculus then can you play multiplayer Minecraft with your friend.

• A:Answer There is no Minecraft for the quest now, unless you were to hook up the headset to a COMPATIBLE COMPUTER, making the quest play rift games, which Minecraft is available on. As far as cross platform, I believe it will work as all newer Minecraft games are cross-platform now.

• A:Answer I've got six of them now, and basically if you want it from Best Buy you have to stalk the website two to three times a day. I got all mine during the lockdown, so I had to be willing to drive a pretty good distance in some cases (though I was able to ship one to myself and one to my father at one point). Five I purchased from Best Buy, the sixth I got through EBAY from a guy who wasn't trying to totally scalp me, but still made a good 25% profit (I wanted at least four headsets to play Star Trek-Bridge Crew).

• A:Answer Best Buy has been the best choice so far. If you keep checking every day when they get product it will read, “add to cart”. Get it in your cart and buy, don’t look back. I’ve done just that in the last few weeks and bought two, one for myself and my grandson. Best Buy also keeps it at the right price, no price gouging like all the other stores. I didn’t have to wait either I got them both in a few days. Curbside delivery picked up at the store in a matter of minutes. It’s awesome! Keep checking Best Buy will have them.

• A:Answer Yes, you can. I know, for sure, that you can use Chrome cast. You can also broadcast to an Android phone. A few games even have interaction between the phone and headset users. Also, there are ways to link your computer.

• A:Answer Most of the quest games are kind of Arcade style or sports simulations that I've seen, though you can also run various television streaming apps (Prime Video, Netflix for example). Superhot, pistol whip, space pirate trainer, VR Boxing, beat saber are some of the more fun programs, though they also have a neat multiplayer game for up to four players called Star Trek-Bridge Crew (you actually play as the helmsman/tactical officer/engineer/captain). If you want more roleplaying/tactical style games, you want to buy a link cable and essential convert your quest into a rift.

• A:Answer You can actually view videos and play some games, sitting down. For moving games, they recommend, at least, a 6 foot square. I only had about a 5 1/2 ft square. It worked, but I ended up punching the wall, 1 time (then stopped) So, bigger is better.
