No it will not, the rift is for windows pcs only and the MacBook pro does not meet the minimum specs anyways (although for the price of a MacBook pro you could have bought two windows pcs capable of running a rift).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sadly, no. The Xbox One can’t run the Oculus Rift and Macs don’t support VR (or Vr doesn’t but support Mac I guess). You basically need a windows desktop with windows 7 (preferably 10) and a GTX 970, 980, 1060, 1070, 1080 or an AMD equivalent. Hopefully this helps! I
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. You'll need a computer with more powerful graphics card. They recommend: Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD 290 equivalent or better Out of luck there but if you are set on using mac....i believe the iMac pro post 2017 will support VR or be "VR Ready"
