You made a statement, rather than ask a question, lol. Apart from a single review on Amazon stating that he couldn't unlock speed on a replacement bike he received, the ability to unlock extended speeds is very easy. There is a video on Okai website, showing how to flip a single toggle in the app to unlock the top speed restriction, from 20 mph; removing the limit; allowing 28+ mph (up to 30 when battery near full charge) It should be a super simple operation. Here is a link to the page, where a short video os avaliable on a Dropbox folder. My bike arrives tomorrow and the very first thing I will do after activating the bike (you have to get the battery out of hibernation/shipping state by plugging in the charger briefly) -is to unlock the speed restriction - not that I will be tearing up the street on the first ride. That's for the second ride, naturally. Here is the link: https://okai.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/73000619489-okai-ranger-speed-unlock
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
