“How does it record or what does the recording part look like? The picture shown here is just of a jack with an earpiece at the end & I doubt that alone would record anything.”

The jack pictured plugs into a recording device which is not included. You would use any recording device with a standard headphone jack. You place the ear piece in your ear and your phone against the ear piece. The ear piece has a mic on it to pick up the phone call and the speaker fits in your ear so you can hear through it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You put the earbud end in your ear, the jack end in the recorder, and then put the phone to the same ear as the earbud. Voila, the phone call is recorded and you can hear both ends just fine! PEACE!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very simple. It picks up the audio you're listening to with the ear its placed in. The cord runs it into a recorder. It does work.
