• You'll get similar performance. Some games favor amd while some favor nvidia. The 1060 will run cooler though which is better for battery life and the overall system in general. If they are close in price I would say either. Maybe look at benchmarks for your favorite games? That should help you decide.

• Just depends on your preference of AMD vs Nividia. Technically the rx580 8GB is quit better than the 1060.
