There are different panels in this model. HP stuck a bunch of AUO109D pane's in them, which are NOT Freesync compatible. I'm returning mine today. Apparently about 2/3 have CMN1738, and 1/3 have the 3 year old, discontinued AUO109D.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I returned my first HP omen and with free sync enabled overwatch set to display refresh rate i was seeing 70FPS (70HZ). I returned that laptop because of excessive lightbleed and my replacement omen (same model) does not support free sync and the LCD is limited to 60HZ.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Panel is a CMN1738 rated at 60 Hz in this application.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Up to 60hz at 1080.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This may not apply to you but i figure I would let everyone know. I cant confirm the hdmi port can output to 144hz. ButI can confirm using the mini display port you can output to 1080p 144hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The panel is rated for 120hz, but the AMD GPU seems to be capped at 60hz. I've been working to try and find if there's a way around that, but so far I haven't found one.
