depends on what you use this pc for. i7-7700 is about the same as i5-8400, ram are the same. only differences are the graphic card, case and power supply. Alien has a bigger case, better for future upgrade (big case= better cooling). but has a smaller power supply and a way weaker graphic card. if you plan on play 1080P games at medium and high detail at arround 60 FPS, go with alien, this system should last you about 1.5 years without upgrade or lower the settting. i have a 2K monitor with 144HZ freshrate, so i went with HP, the graphic power is not even close. And i wont need to upgrade the pc for about 1.5-2 years. but when i do need to upgrade, my options are limited due to small case and cooling. so it is your call.

Omen has the GTX 1070 and i7. Remember, this PC won't just run the VR - it will be running games that have various levels of recommended specs.
