“Has anyone had any overheating issues with this machine? I've heard hp omen machines have had overheating problems. I love the specs on this machine but I am worried about it staying cool, especially the CPU.”

I've had mine for about a month now. no issues at all. in fact, I can tell you the cpu temperatures hovers between 39-49 degrees. there's a way to monitor cpu temperature with the color bars on the front of the machine.

I have been having overheating issues ever since the fifth or sixth month I've had this. It makes a distinct beep, and then I lose all audio and must restart it to get audio again. Surprisingly though, the only game I play that this happens on is CS:GO. Not on PUBG or Rust (which in theory should overheat more). It is very annoying to have this constantly happening to me and I have realized the reason for this is the lack of fans. The cooling system is extremely poor for a PC with high quality graphics and an amazing processor. I am contemplating whether or not to buy and external fan and set it up next to my PC. The case is also not able to be opened which doesn't allow you to add more fans or tinker with the PC. I am disappointed with the fact that it is almost unusable having constant over heating.

Theres no room to add a fan and the case isnt very well vented. Next gaming pc I buy I will make sure that theres proper ventilation and more fans. If you go online and google about this pc,you will find that a lot of ppl are saying the same thing. We ordered a different case for ours today that's better ventilated and comes with fans ,
