Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently purchased the the Omen 870-244 tower PC with 32 gigs of memory as a replacement for my HPE50Z multimedia workstation. The Omen is a very powerfull pc. I don't do gaming but work with software which is CPU and memory intensive. I create videos from pictures, video clips, music, special backgrounds and transitions and render them into video presentations for customers, friends, family. I actually use Cyberlink Video suite. The rendering time on my old pc used to take 45-60 minutes for an average 30 minute video. With my Omen pc it actually takes 15 minutes which is incredibly faster. My time to upload pictures and videos from my pc to my Shutterfly account is also much faster. A typical photo shoot includes some 600 pictures, and I upload 30-45 minute videos using a 125 mb service. It actually takes me 20 minutes versus the prior 45 minutes with the older computer. I don't do any gaming but it is very powerfull pc desktop. It also has 2 additional internal drive bays so you can install older drives which are compatible into the chassis. It can be upgraded to 64 gigs of memory. It has multiple video outputs, plenty of USB ports to accommodate mouse, keyboard, printers, scanners, external drives, printers. You will need to create your own recovery disks from the utility on the hard drive. There are also 2 additional card slots available for additional interfaces.
