“What's the average lifespan of thise pc? (planning on using for gaming and freelance work) I don't want to invest so much money into something that's gonna bust in the first 2 or 3 years”

I have had hp's for up to 7 or 8 years, if you take care of then they will last. I would add a good ssd as the primary drive but the specified components are high end and should play games for several years... I am thinking of the ps3 & xbox 360 life cycle long....
