A:AnswerIt means the item was returned or a display item. Mine only had a couple of barely noticeable scratches on the top. It had the original box and accessories.
A:AnswerTo connect the Onkyo CD player to your Sony receiver, use the RCA cables to connect the audio out jack on the CD player to one of the audio input jacks on your receiver. The RCA cables are color coded so use that as your guide. When you want to play a CD, you have to change the input on the receiver to the CD Player (the input jacks are numbered).
A:AnswerSince Onkyo has pulled out of the US marketplace, I suspect that it will not be back in stock as a new unit. I got mine as an "open box, Excellent" unit - and it was as good as new. You can find it as new on Amazon, but its price there is exorbitant - far above the suggested retail price.
A:AnswerHello,
I did a search on Best Buy's site, and I've only seen CD players that go as high as 6 CDs. However, Onkyo and Pioneer are owned by the same parent company, so I would check Best Buy's site every so often to see if an open box player that can handle more than 6 CDs becomes available. Pioneer use to have a 12 disc CD player, the model was PD-DM802. This has long since been discontinued. But, if that's the type you're looking for, I would try Amazon or eBay. Keep in mind though, that particular player is an older version, and it will fail much sooner than the 6 CD players currently available at Best Buy. Also, while it it more expensive than the Onkyo, Yamaha has a 5 disc CD player that is equipped with a USB port, so you can connect an MP3 player to it and play music from that in addition to the CDs. I have added a link to that player from this post for your consideration. I hope this information helps!
