What you need should be dictated by the kind of sound you wish to hear. I am a violinist, so the speakers I use are BOSE, but they were purchased back in the 90's. If you are looking to purchase speakers, visit a good quality showroom and listen to various types of music on different speakers, and make your choice accordingly.
